Overall The Simple Truth by David Baldacci 480 pages published in 1998 A soldier is convicted of murder. After 25 years in prison a letter helps him remember THAT HE ISN’T GUILTY. He files an appeal but the real killer finds out… his attorney is then murdered and Rufus must flee, broken out of jail by his brother…how will survive while clearing his name? This book got a great PR boost when then President Bill Clinton selected the book as his favorite novel of the year.
