Summary
Silent Shadows by Natalie Walters was a truly enjoyable read. I found the characters very endearing. Pecca is a single mom with a son that has a disability. This storyline was very well done. I loved Maceo and his obsession with marvel.
Pecca is a nurse at a veteran’s facility. The secondary characters in the Mansion were adorable. They added humor and a heartwarming twist to the story.
Colton is an Army veteran that has a movement disorder. He is at the facility for treatment. Colton and Pecca hit it off (literally) Adorable scenes between Colton and Pecca and between Colton and Maceo. The author did an amazing job of intertwining the storylines of Colton and Maceo.
In addition to all of this we have a mystery of why someone is coming after Pecca. It could be the father of her child who is in jail and a former member of a gang.
This is my favorite book of Natalie’s so far. I would definitely recommend it both for the character storylines and the mystery.
I received this book from Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review.
