Kendrick raised his voice. “A high school teacher! Benita, my fears would not be assuaged if you provided the most prominent literary agent in the business during your absence. A high school teacheris supposed to make me feel better?”
Benita Sotolongo’s planned summer escape to her aunt’s historical Adirondack inn could be the disaster the staff at her Miami-based Soto Literary Agency had predicted. Part romance, part mystery, Secluded Summer at Hidden Havens is a rom com, coming of age YA novella (Secret Trust) within a novel.

Book Title: Secluded Summer at Hidden Haven Book Author: Wendy Black Farley What do you like about this book:
A story within a story is about two women who trade jobs during the summer. Benita Sotolongo runs her family’s Literary Agency in Miami. She took over when her Father’s health declined. She works very long hours at a high stress job that she’s not sure she wants. Maren Scott teaches school in the Adirondack. She is slated to teach a writing workshop over the summer. Yet, she yearns fo some real world experience. The ladies decide to switch roles for the summer. Neither gives much notice to those they are leaving behind. Is the grass really greener on the other side?
This is a very good book. It is super interesting and has both romance and mystery. It is a clean book too! The story inside the story is also interesting and becomes even more so during the awards banquet. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good clean romance and/or mystery.
