Returning to her home town to attend her grandmother's funeral, fashion designer Andie Montgomery never expected to become embroiled with former Army Ranger Elijah Breeth. For reasons unknown, her beloved gran had managed to make sure that the two of them were forced to work together upon her earthly absence. Reality demanded that at the very least Andie and Elijah had to form a loose alliance, and it was a good thing that they did, for suddenly everything in Andie's world began experiencing destruction, the kind that appeared as a personal vendetta, making Elijah concerned that Andie would be next. And apparently he was right.
In addition to this story's puzzling series of circumstances (including an enemies to lovers trope), the depth of spiritual angst is both raw and restorative. If anyone reading this book questions God's ability to forgive, that promise will be solidly verified with a guarantee of unconditional love and a measure of peace that passes all understanding.
