What did the president know? And when did she know it?
For the members of SEAL Team Six, it was a rare mission ordered by the president, monitored in real time from the Situation Room. The Houthi rebels in Yemen had captured an American journalist and a member of the Saudi royal family. Their executions were scheduled for Easter Sunday. The SEAL team would break them out.
But when the mission results in spectacular failure, the finger-pointing goes all the way to the top.
Did the president play political games with the lives of U.S. service members?
Paige Chambers, a determined young lawyer, has a very personal reason for wanting to know the answer. The case she files will polarize the nation and test the resiliency of the Constitution. The stakes are huge, the alliances shaky, and she will be left to wonder if the saying on the Supreme Court building still holds true.
Equal justice under law.
It makes a nice motto. But will it work when one of the most powerful people on the planet is also a defendant?

Book Title: Rule of Law
Book Author: Randy Singer
What do you like about this book:
One of the many things I love about Randy Singer’s novels is that no matter how tragic or disturbing the circumstances may be, he shows how God can triumph over hardship. Rule of Law follows this standard. And though his presentation of the story can be wearisome at times, it is a story worth telling.
Sexual Content:
A case is tried concerning a woman who claims to have been sexually assaulted, however, the alleged perpetrator of the assault says she consented to it. She immediately replies, “I would never consent to sex like that.”
A man is said to have defended those accused of sexual assault, depriving women of the justice they deserve.
Someone is invited into his girlfriend’s house, but he quickly declines. Couples kiss. And a man dresses in drag.
Violent Content:
The military raid is realistic, however, not graphic. On a news report, the camera shows a bunch of naked, rotting dead bodies, hanging in the desert.
Language:
One use of “b--tard.”
Drug/Alcohol Content:
A man is pretty much always shown with a beer in his hand and a cigar in his mouth.
