Summary
Rebel Light by Marilyn Turk is an engaging read. I met Marilyn at the International Christian retail show and I was thrilled to received a copy of Rebel Light. I am a fan of lighthouses and so is Marilyn. I was not disappointed. I enjoyed Kate’s character from the opening scene. Even if she made a couple of bad decisions you knew her heart was in the right place. The author created a thought provoking read as she takes us back to the conflict of the civil war. Aunt Sally, Bessie and John were secondary characters that added depth to the story. There is some history, lots of faith sprinkled into the story very well and a sweet romance.
