Summary
Queen of the Rockies by Angela Breidenbach is book one in the Queen of the Rockies series. This is my first book by Angela and I am hooked. I loved this story and was thrilled to know the series continues.
It is a beautiful blend of romance and history. The orphans from the Orphan Train were heartbreaking. It would be hard not to do what Calista did and hide the orphan girl. Beautiful scenes with Lea and the kitten, Jesus, the cook and Charles.
I enjoyed Albert’s story and how he worked to make the town sustainable.
I highly recommend the book and look forward to reading the next books in the series.
