Summary
Overall Protect and serve by Terry Reid is the first book in the Rookie K9 unit series. The opening scene grabs your attention. It is action packed. A creepy, crazy villain who happens to be her twin brother and he has already killed her dad. I thought the storyline was very interesting in the fact that they were twins and her concern was what she may have the same evil tendencies. You get some conclusion with her brother but there are some questions that remain open and I suspect will be answered in some follow up books in the series. I like the main characters. Shane was a K9 officer with his German Shephard partner. Gina works with the lead dog trainer
who is found murdered.
Violence Lead dog trainer is murdered. Her brother is trying to kill her.
