Summary
Overall Amanda Tru is an author to watch. This was my favorite book in the Tru Exceptions series with Rachel and Dawson which is saying a lot because I loved Baggage Claim. The action starts from the first chapter and doesn’t let up. I was thrilled that we got to see her dad in action since he taught her everything she knows. All the pieces are revealed and the three books are further tied together. I found the conversation Amanda and Dawson had about if one of them was held hostage to be interesting. I recommend reading them in order to get the full effect. With this heroine Amanda created a heroine that is tough as nails, experiences real emotions and has her
faith in God.
Violence There is some violence but it is not written in a graphic or disturbing way. Several dead bodies and tension of being held at gun point.
Language I don't recall any bad language.
Sexual Hugging and kissing which is very well written. You can see their relationship developing.
Drug & Alcohol I don't recall any alcohol. Someone does get shot with drug darts but I didn't consider that drug use since it was not intentional drug use.
