Susan Mallery, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Fool’s Gold romances, proves there’s nowhere better than Happily Inc to rekindle first love.
Silver Tesdal has a head for business and a mouth made for kissing, and banker Drew Lovato has his eye on both. But ever since he was dumb enough to let her go, she’s kept him at a distance. When the bank turns her down for a loan, Drew sees a double opportunity—he can finance her brilliant, unique idea to rock Happily Inc’s wedding industry and win back her trust.
Despite her reputation, Silver’s not as tough as she seems. Losing Drew nearly destroyed her. Still, his kisses are as tempting as his offer to invest in her business. If she can’t quite get over him, maybe she should get under him and knock him out of her system once and for all.
But her best laid plans begin to unravel as Silver finds herself falling even harder than when they were high school sweethearts. Which means that she’ll have to come clean about the secret she’s been hiding from him for years—and risk losing him forever.

Summary
Not Quite Over You is Silver’s story. I have been reading the Happily Inc series by Susan Mallery and have been looking forward to Silver’s story. Her story surprised me in how often I teared up. You think of Silver as tough as nails so seeing the vulnerability in her was interesting.
The book description does not do this book justice. It is about so much more than a physical relationship.
I will not spoil anything but we learn all about Silver’s past and her past with Drew. I could not be more pleased as to how all of that turned out. My stomach was in knots (I know it is fiction but it felt so real) when she had to tell Drew her secret.
Susan creates characters that you believe in and cheer for. The friendships created in Happily Inc are what makes this series top notch. Both the women and the men have friends that see them through all of their ups and downs.
There are so many little touches to the story that are the hallmark of a terrific writer.
I am looking forward to Jasper’s story. And if Wynn doesn’t get herself straightened out then I may just have to wish for a new girl for him. She is over the top at the moment. I hope Susan can redeem her.
Sexual content - some physicals scenes, they do not have a lot of descriptive detail
Drinking - casual drinking, and Silver runs a bar, and some patrons get drunk(it is not glamorized)
Violence - no violence, even though I may have supported some violence against Drew's mother 🙂 evil witch.
