"Kat Farino looked and moved almost exactly like Teagan Murphy . . . his dead fiancee."
Were her eyes deceiving her? How was it possible that Hudson Carmichael was in Dallas, Texas? Teagan was confused.
Extracting a woman in trouble and transporting her back to Vanishing Ranch was a job that Hudson Carmichael was trained to do, but seeing the love of his life very much alive was an understandable shock to his system. Unfortunately time was not on their side, Teagan's safety was his number one priority and the powerful crime family that would chase her down to the ends of earth would strike back with incredible speed. And they did.
Teagan wasn't sure she would ever be safe again. Having married under duress, she had felt marginally safe until her husband was killed, making her a virtual hostage among the Farinos; every move she made was monitored and having friends was out of the question. Reaching out to the director of Vanishing Ranch had been a desperate act, reuniting with Hudson had been unexpected, and now her situation was even more complicated than anyone, especially Hudson, realized.
Moving at sonic speed this second chance romance barely has time to ignite . . until it does!
