Summary
Catherine was mentioned in a previous book in the Heroes for Hire series. Each book stands alone but it is neat to revisit some of the other characters. In this book she is released from prison after four years and a crime she didn’t commit. Someone is trying to kill her. Former Navy Seal, Darius happens to be her neighbor and becomes her protector. I loved his character and his background. He is a great hero. My only complaint about the book was that Catherine was stubborn to the point of being stupid. I hate that. I did not guess the killer. I was not expecting Eilene’s hidden papers.
Violence
2 More danger not really violence. Someone is harassing her and trying to kill her and someone is held at gun point. Nothing I found disturbing.
