Summary
Navy Blues I have a soft spot for ‘meeting on an airplane’ romance and for military men so this romance was perfect for me. Emma plans to surprise her fiancé however she is the one surprised when she finds him in bed with another woman. I was surprised we didn’t explore how much she really loved him if she hadn’t planned to visit him over her spring break. As Emma is trying to quickly get home from her disastrous visit, she ends up on the plan next to a navy doctor. There are some very touching moments and some funny moments as they get to know each other. I don’t want to ruin any of the scenes but I went from ‘oh no you did not’ to sigh worthy in just a matter of pages. I definitely recommend. There is also the undertone of faith and values and making good dating decisions; even after you have made a mistake.
