Overall The Matchmakers is a humorous historical crazy cat lady romance novella. Eccentric aunt who with the help of several cats plays The Matchmaker. Jessie and Baldwin are both likeable characters. Baldwin tries to distract his aunt who is harassing him to marry and produce a son. Jessie is known as the crazy cat lady and doesn’t have time for romance as she takes care of her cats. The Matchmaker will lift your spirits and leave you chuckling. A must read for cat lovers.
