What do you like about this book:
Layla is an interior decorator who has been hired to decorate the Blueberry Point Lodge for the holidays. This could prove to be her best job yet. She is super excited until she learns Brandt Johnsson is schedule to be on site while she is working. She has a history with Brandt, and it’s not a pleasant one. Will she be able to avoid him, or will she have to face up to one of the most humiliating times of her life?
This is an excellent holiday romance read. Layla and Brandt have a knack at misinterpreting the other’s actions. I loved the way Brandt tried to show his true self through his actions other than through his words. Though Brandt is definitely egotistical, he’s also very likable. Layla has a good heart too, but she certainly has a hard time trusting Brandt. I appreciate that the book is clean. There is no foul language and no sex scenes. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a great romance.
