Summary
Kidnapped at Christmas by Barb Han. This story was action packed both physically and emotionally. Someone is trying to kidnap Aubrey. Meg’s friend and co worker gets hurt twice in the process. Is it someone from Meg’s past or her work where she helps abused women and children.
This is a book in the Crisis: Cattle Barge series. We still do not know who had killed Maverick Mike. It is killing me not to know. The next book cannot come fast enough. I think we have all of the kids accounted for now.
Aubrey’s father is Wyatt Jackson. Wyatt has found out that he is a son of Maverick Mike. After that shock is the news from Meg that he is a father. Wyatt was a great character. He wants to be a good father. He appreciated everything his mother did for him. He is a self made man with a chain of taco restaurants.
I would recommend this book and the series. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.
Sexual content - one physical scene and discussions their first time together
Violence - someone trying to take the baby,
