It’s been eighteen years since TV crime reporter Andi Hollister’s sister was murdered. The confessed killer is behind bars, and the execution date is looming. But when a letter surfaces stating that the condemned killer didn’t actually do it, Detective Will Kincaide of the Memphis Cold Case Unit will stop at nothing to help Andi get to the bottom of it. After all, this case is personal: the person who confessed to the crime is Will’s cousin. They have less than a week to find the real killer before the wrong person is executed. But much can be accomplished in that week–including uncovering police corruption, running for your life, and falling in love.
With the perfect mixture of intrigue and nail-biting suspense, award-winning author Patricia Bradley invites her readers to crack the case–if they can–alongside the best Memphis has to offer.

Summary
Justice Delayed by Patricia Bradley is compelling mystery sprinkled with clean romance.
Andi is an up and coming reporter who has a knack for getting into trouble. Her sister, Stephanie was killed and the killer is on death row. Andi's brother is Brad and his best friend is Will. They are now both police officers/detectives. Will's cousin, Jimmy, is on death row for killing Stephanie. Andi and Will are starting to develop feelings for each other after having grown up together.
There are a lot of characters and admittedly I got some of them confused at times. There were a group of women who were flight attendants with Stephanie when she was murdered. All of those women and their boyfriends are mentioned quite often. The main storyline is that we are starting to question whether Jimmy really killed her. There are several plot twist and it's a great who-done-it as we try to guess who killed Stephanie. I love the side story of Maggie and David and hope they get their own story in a future book. Brad needs some developing but maybe he'll get his story eventually. I will definitely read more by this author.
It has all the romance, suspense, wit and surprises that we love.
Sexual content - some attraction, and a kiss
Violence - Stephanie was murdered, some shots are fired,
