When the dive team is called in to recover a body from a submerged car, they aren’t prepared to find an encrypted laptop–or an unsettling connection between investigator Adam Campbell and the dead accountant.
Adam turns to his friend Dr. Sabrina Fleming–a professor at the local university with unparalleled computer security and forensics skills–to recover the files from the laptop. But the deeper they dig, the deadlier the investigation becomes. When evidence uncovers a human trafficking ring and implicates members of Adam’s own family, he and Sabrina will have to risk everything to solve the case.
The truth could set hundreds free–but someone is willing to do whatever it takes to silence anyone who threatens to reveal their secrets. Award-winning author Lynn H. Blackburn invites readers back to Carrington, North Carolina, where everything is not as it seems and sinister elements lurk behind the idyllic façade.

Summary
In Too Deep by Lynn Blackburn. This book has solidified Lynn as one of my must-read and go to authors. Sabrina and Adam are one of my all-time favorite fictional couples. Sabrina is quirky and ridiculously smart. You cannot help but love her and her interactions with her friends. Adam is a gentleman in the 21st-century and rocks it. He comes from old money and still followed his dream to be a police officer. His interactions with his family make for interesting scenes in the book. I love the relationship he has with his parents. The author also did a great job of keeping all the characters engaged in the storyline. So for those of us would read the first book it was great to see Ryan and Leigh. Waiting for Gabe story is absolute torture.
There were so many quotes and sayings in the book that I just love and want to share. You may see them on my social media. I’m so excited to have found this author. She is definitely someone to watch. Blackburn has a gift for developing character to fall in love with. She creates fabulous relationships and scenes between Adam and Sabrina and nonstop action. She creates intelligent characters and it’s fascinating to watch as they think through the case.
If you are looking for an awesome writer. I highly recommend her
