Summary
Another fantastic read from Tara Grace Ericson—Hostile Intent is my favorite book in the series so far. Cole and Joey were wonderful together, and their sharp, playful banter made every interaction a delight. Joey, a brilliant computer whiz and hacker, goes undercover at Cole’s company to help him investigate a case of corporate espionage. Watching her initially suspect Cole while secretly trying to protect his business added a fun and intriguing twist.
I love a smart, strong female lead, and Joey more than delivers. The investigation also continues the ongoing theme of uncovering who is tied to the Syndicate, which adds great continuity and suspense to the series. I also really enjoyed the side characters—each one adds depth and richness to the story. And I absolutely cannot wait for Hank to get his own book!
Fast-paced, entertaining, and filled with chemistry, this installment truly stands out. I’m excited to continue the series!
