Summary
As always, Jan Karon brings her charming characters to life in a nostalgic story, endearing them to us as we get to know them better. But in this book we see a new side of the charismatic Father Tim. We meet him in his childhood, along with friends and family from 60 or so years ago and we grow to love and/or forgive them the same as Father Tim as he takes his journey. There is humor on nearly every page, lightening up even tense situations. It's not a suspenseful book you just can't put down, but neither do you want it to end. Jan Karon always leaves you wanting more. I believe I'll re-read it now!
