Summary
Overall Jack Gilbert is a young man who sets off to make his fortune at a young age. Jack is everyone's hero or tries to be. The first few chapters finds Jack in situations that are unbelievable you just have to keep reading. The author has created interesting characters whose lives intertwine in this family saga. This is a wonderful love story.
