Summary
Review of Forward to What Lies Ahead. This is one of those books that I read without reading the book description. So I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into in the beginning. Regina is the older sister that’s been taking care of her little sister forever. At first you think maybe she’s just a little bit overprotective and I wasn’t sure if I was going to like her. But I absolutely fell in love with her character. The author gradually reveals more and more about Regina‘s background. When Regina began to work for Mac I wasn’t sure if I was going to like where that was going. Again the author did a great job of building the friendship to where you totally support how the book ends. The author created great scenes between Mac, Regina and RJ. There was a lot of suspense as to who had been tormenting Regina and making her think she was crazy. The book has a balance between fun banter between the characters and and the struggle of overcoming a heartbreaking past.
