"Don't trust anyone. . . . . You're wealthy. People will try to get close to you, but it's never for who you are. It's always for what you have."
Wealthy heiress Amanda Cabot's life had suddenly taken a turn for the worse. Attacked outside an out of the way Montana post office, she avoids further injury when rescued by a local outdoorsman, Boone McGregor. Unfortunately their reprieve is short-lived, sending Boone and Amanda running for their lives into the rugged mountains surrounding Boone's remote cabin. Apparently some very dangerous people assume that Amanda is in possession of incriminating evidence, when in fact she was only trying to find a quiet location to write a book.
Forced proximity has a way of forming bonds, and while Boone and Amanda use every resource available to them, providence plays a major role in their safety, placing any future plans they might imagine on hold; they come from two totally different worlds . . . . don't they?
Such a good book! Wonderful characters, a riveting plot, and more than a few surprises!
