SHE COULDN’T REMEMBER HER NAME,
HER ADDRESS,
HER FAMILY.
NOT EVEN WHY SOMEONE WANTED HER DEAD–
WHO WAS SHE?
SHE HAD LOST HER WALLET, HER IDENTITY–EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE CLOTHES ON HER BACK–AND HER LIFE.
She awoke in a room she didn’t remember, asleep on a bed she did not recognize, in a hotel she had never heard of, bruised and battered from an incident she couldn’t recall.
THEN HER LIFE TURNED COMPLICATED.
Befriended by a truck driver who takes her under his wing, she sets about to rediscover–and reclaim–the life she’s lost. But despite appearances, she’s not really alone. Two men–one, a hardened killer; the other; a methodical, high-tech tracker–stalk her every move. Even Nick–the good Samaritan truck driver helping her–may not be all that he appears.
LOCKED IN HER MIND IS A SECRET WORTH KILLING FOR–
AND WORTH LIVING FOR.
More than anything, she wants her memory–and life–back. Others will stop at nothing to make sure she never remembers anything again. For though she does not know it, deep in her mind is buried a secret that threatens to bring down one of the richest men in the world. A secret that can shake governments to their very foundations. A secret that could lead to her destruction–or her salvation.

Summary
From: Isaac Scego
Book Title: Distant Memory
Book Author: Alton Gansky
What do you like about this book:
Summery::
Once again, Alton Gansky takes a fabulous story and turns it into a practical textbook. I wanted to like this novel, but Mr. Gansky two fault points made it a pool of tar in which to trudge through. One, he doesn't know how, and when to end a chapter, thus resorting to constant extensions, dragging it on, and on. And two, he does not seem to understand proper grammar, knowing when to begin a new paragraph. If it were not for the over-explaining and technical hodge-podge, I'd give this novel a 4 star and recommend it to anyone. But, sadly, I must give it a two-and-a-half star and suggest another book--unless you have a lot of time on your hands.
Sexual Content::
When looking over her injuries, Lisa thinks she might have been raped. She continues to undress--not sexually, however. There's some sexual tension between characters, along with some romance.
Violent Content::
A car wreck is described in pretty deep detail. A woman wakes up bruised and bloodied. Quite a bit of gunfire and suspenseful chases are frequent, however, rarely is blood described.
Language::
None.
Drug/Alcohol Content::
Some mild references to drinking and drunkenness.
Cleanness Rating:: 3.5/5
Rating:: PG-13 - Intense action violence and thematic elements
