Montana real estate agent Quint McCoy will tell you that the most important thing is location, location, location. It’s a lesson he learns all too well when he goes incommunicado for a four-week fishing trip to Alaska. While he’s away, his mother Molly turns his office into the pie shop she has always dreamed of, Big Sky Pie. But that’s not the only surprise in store for him.
On her way out of town, Callee McCoy only wants to say a fond farewell to her beloved mother-in-law. But Molly soon persuades Callee to stay and lend a hand at the new shop, even if it means heating up the kitchen with her soon-to-be ex. As Callee and Quint rediscover their recipe for love, they realize that some couples are so sinfully good together that one delectable taste is never enough . . .

Summary
Overall Delectable is a contemporary romance. Quint loses his dad and his grip on life. He walks away; leaving his wife and his very successful real estate job. Callee is
the wife with no outstanding characteristics who is about to leave town. My favorite character was Quint’s mother, Molly although she didn’t have that much page
time. Molly is weeks away from opening her pie shop when she has a heart attack. Quint and Callee try to carry on for her. I found Quints ‘secret’ amusing and that his mom turned his office into a café for her pie shop even though I had a hard time cheering for him. He didn’t seem to redeem himself for being a workaholic and leaving Callee. He had a strong physical reaction to her but I didn’t see the emotional connection. The obsessive use of unnecessary foul language put a sour taste in my mouth
starting on the first page. I was excited that the author includes the cherry pie recipe in the back.
Violence
Language obsessive use of unnecessary foul language put a sour taste in my mouth starting on the first page. The F word is used throughout the book.
Sexual Sex doesn't occur until later in the book but I would say the physical attraction is throughout the book and is described in some detail.
Drug & Alcohol Drinking to avoid problems. Getting drunk when upset.
