has been kidnapped by the same serial killer that had Ella. Ella is the only woman to have survived this madman. Ella is a retired FBI agent. She retired after
her abduction and escape. They assumed the serial killer had died in the lake. Jake and Ella were high school sweethearts that didn’t work out when she joined the FBI. Ella and Jake are following the clues of the serial killer in a race against time. Good secondary characters with her grandparents and some of the other police
officers. She had an interesting career for when she retired from the FBI. I was surprised at the ending and I love when an author can do that.
Violence his daughter is abducted and they are trying not to think about what he did to the other victims. Ella is remembering her time of capture.
