Summary
Cold Case Killer by Jessica was an intriguing and action packed romantic suspense in the inspiration genre.
Brigitte is out painting and stumbles upon a murder. It ends of being a victim of the Sunset Serial Killer. Duke is a profiler with the FBI and is brought in to help on the case. They have instant chemistry and respect for one another. I liked that it wasn’t all physical. You could see how they were respecting each other.
A secondary storyline was of Brigitte taking care of her dad with Alzheimer’s. It is heartbreaking to see what the family goes through.
Duke was a great character. I instantly liked him when he entered the scene. There was a lot of action in the first half of the book and the second half of the story took us through the working of the case file info and the new leads.
The author did a great job creating enough suspects to keep you guessing. And I was satisfied with how it ended.
Sexual content - kissing (1)
Violence - (2) serial killer, several people die and we revisits some of the prior murders
