What do you like about this book:
Jana lost her parents when she was sixteen and was taken in by the Coleman’s. She now works for Mr. Coleman as his executive assistant. She is a Latter Day Saint and has dreams of marrying in the temple, but she’s not anticipating that in the near future. Then Trevor abruptly enters her life and they begin a whirlwind romance. When he asks her to marry him after only dating a short time, she has mixed feeling. She cares for him and she enjoys spending time with him, but she has seen signs of a bad temper and he is not a member of her church. She asks for time to think about her response. He pushes hard, but finally agrees to giving her space. He even made reservations for her at a B and B on the coast. On her journey there, she has an accident and her whole life turns upside down.
This book is both a romance and a mystery. The story moves at a decent pace and keeps you guessing. The characters are endearing. I found myself wanting to like Trevor, despite his actions. It is easy to see why Jana fell for him. Best of all, it is a clean read free of foul language and sex scenes. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys mystery and romance.
