Summary
Beneath Copper Falls by Colleen Coble is a very suspenseful book. From the opening scene to the ending you are on the edge of your seat.
For fans of the Rock Harbor series you'll be thrilled to know that Bree and Cade play a role in this book too. And don't let me forget Sampson, Bree loyal companion dog. I enjoyed how the relationship developed between Boone and Dana. Dana married the man of her dreams and then realized he wasn't who he appeared to be. He also happens to be the best friend of her brother. She has a very interesting backstory with her family dying and going to live with Chris and his family. I found her occupation interesting as a 911 caller. On a personal note I felt like she should have filed a restraining order as encouragement for other women who read the book. However I'm sure the book is probably more accurate as a 911 operator has probably seen many cases that it did not stop someone. Boone was another great character. I love the scenes where he was teaching her self-defense. Even if you guess who the Groom Reaper is you're going to thoroughly enjoyed the mystery. The Groom Reaper is a serial killer who is killing women the night before their wedding.
