Summary
Acceptable Risk by Lynette Eason is another can’t – put – down suspense thriller. Eason never disappoints me and Acceptable Risk is no exception. My heart was beating fast and I was hooked from the first scene of the kidnapping.
Sarah is a military journalist and this is her story. She is one of the few journalist characters that I actually like. She is kidnapped at the beginning of the book, however the majority of the story is her trying to understand why her brother would commit suicide.
Gavin is a former Army Ranger that is asked to rescue her by her father. Her father is another whole story. I had a hard time liking him even if his heart was supposed to be in the right place.
Gavin was wonderful! I really enjoyed his character. He is watching Sarah since she continues to have unusual things happening to her. She enlists his help to research info on her brother.
Acceptable risk contains Incredible storytelling and intricately drawn characters. You won’t want to miss this one.
NOTE: if you have not read the first book, a major plot is mentioned in this one and may spoil some of book one. I recommend reading them in order.
