Summary
Audiobook Review: Our Daily Breath Devotional: 365 Prayers and Practices That Whisper Peace in a Shouting World by Kayla Craig
Our Daily Breath Devotional is my first book by Kayla Craig, and I have found it to be such a comforting and peaceful addition to the end of my day.
As the title suggests, the audiobook is designed to provide a short devotional for each day of the year, with each entry lasting approximately three minutes. However, I’ve discovered that I enjoy using it a little differently. Instead of listening to one devotional each day, I turn it on when I go to bed and often listen to several at a time.
There is something incredibly calming about ending my day this way. The short prayers and reflections help quiet my thoughts and shift my focus toward God as I settle in for the night. Rather than feeling like something I need to check off my daily list, it has become a peaceful way to wind down.
I also appreciate the flexibility of the format. You can listen to one devotional each morning, use it during a quiet time, or, like me, listen to several as you fall asleep.
I definitely recommend Our Daily Breath Devotional, especially if you're looking for short, faith-filled moments of peace in the middle of a busy life. And my advice? Don't worry about using it exactly as intended. Listen in whatever way helps you slow down, breathe, and spend a few quiet moments with God.
