Summary
Book Review: Silent Menace by Angela Carlisle
Silent Menace by Angela Carlisle delivers a compelling blend of high-stakes danger, heartfelt emotion, and small-town intrigue. From the opening chapters, I was drawn into Hailey’s story as she works to rebuild her life and protect her young daughter, only to find herself caught in circumstances she never anticipated. The tension builds quickly, and the combination of close-knit community, family relationships, and escalating suspense kept me fully engaged.
Peter, a former bodyguard, was a wonderful hero. His quiet strength and protective nature provided the perfect balance to Hailey’s determination and vulnerability. I especially enjoyed watching their relationship develop as they learned to navigate fear, trust, and an unexpected attraction. Their growing connection added warmth and depth without taking away from the suspense.
Angela Carlisle does an excellent job balancing action with character development, creating a story that is both emotionally satisfying and difficult to put down. The mystery kept me guessing, while the romance developed naturally alongside the danger.
Silent Menace is romantic suspense done right—filled with engaging characters, heartfelt moments, and enough twists to keep the pages turning. If you enjoy stories where faith, family, romance, and suspense are woven together seamlessly, this is one I highly recommend.
