Can this bad-boy bodyguard protect America’s sweetheart without losing his heart?
Fiona Raven is famous for her homestyle cooking with a hint of Italian flair. Everyone knows her face and has her pre-packaged food in their freezer. So why is she receiving threatening notes? Fiona’s brother insists on sending a bodyguard, news that only gets worse when she realizes it is his friend Ryder – the one man she could never let herself love.
Ryder McClain has played the villain enough times to appreciate being the hero working for Black Tower Security. Along with his new client comes a stern warning from her brother – his boss and best friend – to keep his hands off. It doesn’t matter anyway, Fiona is the perfect woman, and exactly the kind he doesn’t deserve.
Ryder will do whatever it takes to protect Fiona. Threatening notes turn into suspicious break-ins and destructive corporate espionage, and this bodyguard assignment gets even more serious. Can Ryder get to the bottom of the threat before his heart gets too involved?

Summary
Potential Threat delivers a fun blend of heart-racing action, clean romance, and engaging characters. Fiona Raven—America’s sweetheart and host of a hit cooking show—is also Flint’s sister from Clean Slate. While I personally struggled to relate to her perfectionism (she takes it to the next level!), her growing vulnerability makes her an interesting heroine. When threatening notes begin arriving, Flint sends his best friend, Ryder McClain, from Black Tower Security to protect her.
Ryder is a standout character—once known for playing the villain, he now finds purpose as a hero with Black Tower. He’s working through his own past, yet he’s fiercely committed to keeping Fiona safe. Their chemistry is undeniable, even as both try their best to fight it.
When creepy notes escalate into break-ins and destructive corporate espionage, Ryder’s assignment becomes more dangerous than either expected.
With compelling characters, a clean slow-burn romance, and escalating suspense, Potential Threat is an exciting addition to the Black Tower universe. I’m looking forward to reading more in the series.
