I, Amelia Quinn, am dating again.
I must be out of practice though because I sat down at the wrong man’s table…and kissed him. And now I’m wrapped up in the middle of an FBI case… DREAM COME TRUE!
Except the super sexy agent doesn’t want my help solving this case.
I, Caleb Harris, am a stupid, stupid man. Nothing says rookie agent like kissing a civilian just to get rid of her.
But somehow that didn’t even work because she keeps showing up wherever our suspect is. And now, I’m not so sure she’s innocent in all this. Especially when someone ends up dead.
Date With Danger is a closed-door romantic comedy filled with mystery and suspense. A simple case of mistaken identity turns into a mystery they never expected.

Summary
Book Review: Date with Danger by Jenessa Fayeth
A laugh-out-loud romantic suspense with sizzling chemistry and a twisty mystery
Date with Danger is equal parts hilarious and suspenseful. Jenessa Fayeth delivers an unforgettable story packed with clever banter, laugh-out-loud mishaps, swoony romance, and a mystery that keeps you guessing until the end.
Amelia is an absolute whirlwind of a heroine. A bubbly, carefree hairdresser with a not-so-secret obsession with crime shows, she’s a magnet for chaos—clumsy, unlucky, and often the unintentional cause of trouble. If something can go wrong, it usually does... and somehow it’s probably Amelia’s fault. And yet, you can’t help but love her for it.
Caleb, on the other hand, is a rule-following federal agent who thrives on order. He’s all sharp edges and serious stares—until Amelia crashes into his life like a sparkly tornado. He’s got strict orders to follow and a job to do, but Amelia is proving to be an irresistible (and very distracting) complication… especially since she might be tied to his case. Their chemistry is electric—grumpy meets sunshine in the best possible way—and watching Caleb try to keep his cool is absolutely swoon-worthy.
The romance is full of tension, flirtation, and surprisingly sweet moments. The restaurant scenes are especially fantastic—I found myself grinning the whole time. And just when you think you know where the story’s going, Fayeth throws in a mystery reveal you won’t see coming.
If you love witty banter, chaotic heroines, golden-retriever grumps, swoony slow-burn chemistry, and a murder mystery with a splash of danger (and don’t mind a little blood), Date with Danger is a must-read.
