Summary
Five Habits of a woman Who Doesn't Quit by Nicki Koziarz provides motivation and practical application. My favorite quote from the book was a committed woman learns to choose what she wants most over what she wants now. The book delivers practical application and biblical support. Mikki took the story of Ruth and Identified five habits that we can apply today.
Habit 1 - she accepts the assignment of refinement Nikki considers an assignment of refinement a situation where we are given the opportunity to grow through it or go through it. Sometimes in these situations we take our focus off God and live in fear and anxiety. As a result we don’t see what God is trying to do.
Habit 2 - She follows through with her commitments.
Nikki reminds of to not let our emotions and feelings dictate our actions. Faith is holding in there even when you don’t know what is going to happen.
Habit 3 - She remains open to the movement of God. Nikki shares the difference in surrender and humility. This really hit me. Humility is being ok that the only one who sees your obedience may be God. Sometimes when something is really hard I want to say, hey did you see what I did or what I didn’t say.
Nikki also shares what she calls See Over prayers and that they can be downloaded from her website. They include our problem and God’s promises.
Habit 4 - She gives others what she needs
Habit 5 - She moves forward in faith
I would recommend this book for any woman wanting some motivation to not quit.
