It’s the intel every agent fears–terrorists have been smuggled into the country, intent on unleashing the most deadly attack since 9/11. With the threat imminent, FBI Agent Kiley Dawson and ICE Agent Evan Bowers are charged with taking down this terrorist cell. The only problem is Kiley blames Evan for the death of her former partner, and she can barely be in a room with him. But with millions of lives on the line, she has no choice.
If it wasn’t for a bad call Evan made, Kiley’s former partner would still be alive, and Evan has to live with that guilt for the rest of his life. When he starts falling for her, the agent’s death seems an impossible obstacle–but it’s also the last thing he needs to think about. As the terrorist plot targets Kiley’s family, the two are pushed to the breaking point in a race to save countless lives.

Summary
Minutes to Die by Susan Sleeman Once again proves she is at the pinnacle of Christian romantic suspense. Filled with characters you’ll come to love and scenes that will have you holding your breath and wondering could this really happen. Minutes to Die is book 2 in the Homeland Heroes series but can be read alone. Susan‘s books keep getting better and better.
Kylie Dawson is an FBI agent who starts suspecting that something is going on with terrorist. Her case ends up colliding with her former partner Evan. Evan is an ICE agent who has found a shipping container that hints at terrorist activity. Kylier has always blamed him for the death of one of their friends and partner from many years ago. She has to come to grips with that and work with Evan.
I’m astonished at the research Susan must do for these books. It was an edge of your seat action thriller. The RED team is fascinating with their skill set and I love the respect and banter between them.
There’s an underlying story that weaves through all three of the books about three missing girls.
I definitely recommend Minutes to Die is you are a fan of action packed romantic suspense with a good Christian message.
