Mark Andrews was drawn to vulnerable Sheryl Kyle when she returned home to try to make amends with her terminally ill stepfather. Sheryl was swept into the warmth of Mark’s large, loving family, but painful memories still branded Sheryl an outsider. More than anything, Mark wanted a happy future with Sheryl–and poured his heart into helping her believe in God’s spirit and the power of forgiveness. But would his loving mission be enough to bring Sheryl home again?

Book Title: Homecoming
Book Author: Carolyn Aarsen
What do you like about this book:
Homecoming is an excellent Christian Romance set in British Columbia. Sheryl, a recent widow, is approached by a man she does not know who says he is her estranged step-brother’s business partner and brother-in-law. He, Mark, tells her that Ed, her step-father she hasn’t talked with in eight years, has had a stroke and that he wishes to see her. She reluctantly agrees to travel back with him for a few days to see Ed. She doesn’t really see the point as she feels she can never forgive him or Nate for the hurt they have caused her. Will she be able to overcome her anger and find peace in forgiveness?
This book expertly demonstrates how there’s always more than one side to a story. It is so easy to make assumptions that direct our path, and often those assumptions are far from the truth. It’s only when we take the time to see other’s perspectives that we are able to respond appropriately.
This is a clean book, free of foul language and sex scenes. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good, clean romance. If you are a fan of good looking cowboys, you are in for a treat.
