Book Title: Winter’s Secret
Book Author: Lyn Cote
What do you like about this book:
Winter’s Secret is the first book in a series. A quiet little town in Michigan has a new sheriff and there has been a recent onset of home invasions of the elderly when their homes are vacant. The Sheriff has dubbed the perp Weasel. The robber only takes cash and has left no evidence at the scene. When he discovers a connection between the victims, he enlists the help of Wendy, a local nurse. Though neither is looking for romance, they cannot ignore the attraction between them for long.
This is a clean, sweet romance with no curse words or sex scenes. There is a fair amount of violence, but it is not graphic. There is also consumption of alcohol in the story and the Wendy’s mother is a recovering alcoholic. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys sweet romances or a good mystery.
