Summary
Amish Country Murder by Mary Alford is an exceptional suspense where you do not know who the serial killer is for most of the book. Don’t be misled by the cover or the Amish title to think this book is sweet and innocent. The story is filled with twists and turns that will keep readers turning the pages as they plunge into the chase to find a serial killer.
Catherine is the sole survivor of the Dead of Night Killer. However she cannot remember much about what happened. Throughout the story some of her memory comes back.
Sutter is the FBI agent working the case. He has his own back story of why he left his Amish community at the age of 18. Their budding romance was sweet. I had not read the previous book in the series and the story stood on its own. However if you had read it you would have been pleased when Noah and his wife assisted Sutter and Catherine.
The author sprinkles in plenty of secondary characters to keep you guessing.
