For these two broken hearts, the first step toward love will be a huge leap of faith.
Jessica Mason isn’t looking for love when she meets Ridley Chesterfield. Instead she is still reeling from the tragic, unexpected loss of her husband and daughter—and awaiting the arrival of her unborn child. Harboring the secret of her husband’s betrayal, her pain is deeper than anyone knows.
Ridley Chesterfield is hiding out in Hope Springs, Idaho, avoiding a political scandal and the barrage of false media headlines that have tarnished his good name. The last thing Ridley wants is a relationship—but when fate leads Ridley to form a friendship with his reclusive and pregnant neighbor, he wonders if this small-town hideout might be more of a long-term destination.
When Jessica begins to read her great-grandfather’s Bible, she finds a connection with a man she never knew. Somehow the verses he marked and the words he wrote in the margins open her heart to healing. And as Ridley and Jessica help each other forgive the people who have wronged them, they must decide if the past will define them or if they will choose to love again.
Who I Am With You weaves together a modern-day romance with Jessica’s great-grandfather’s story from the 1930s, reminding us that some truths can cross generations and that faith has the power to transform families forever.

Book Title: Who I Am With You
Book Author: Robin Lee Hatcher
What do you like about this book:
"And I'm still pretending we were happy at the end."
Isolating herself from family and friends after the untimely deaths of her husband and daughter, Hope Springs, Idaho artist Jessica Mason continues to grieve a past that wasn't as idyllic as it appeared to be. Now expecting the birth of her second child, and anticipating being a single mother, Jessica is surprised to find that the empty property next door has a new inhabitant; a man, who like herself, is seeking isolation.
Ridley Chesterfield has arrived in Hope Springs hoping to escape a proverbial media storm of political nastiness; being falsely accused of leaking private information about the candidate that he publicly supported. Moving into his parents' new vacation home seems the right things to do in the interim, he just never expected to bond with his lovely, single, pregnant next door neighbor.
Not only has the author written a lovely contemporary story, she has quietly and effectively slipped in a legacy of faith; for Jessica's family Bible, bequeathed to her upon her dear grandmother's death, is a treasure trove of wisdom, perfectly suited for two hearts learning how to live, love and forgive.
I received a copy of this book from the author and publisher. The opinions stated are entirely my own.
