While researching the authors for the book conference, I saw that Stefanie London wrote an article about tips for introverts at a conference. As soon as I read it I knew I wanted to meet her. In our author interview she shares some of those tips.
If I recall correctly, Stefanie was the only author I interviewed from outside the US. She is originally from Australia currently living in Toronto. You will enjoy her accent.
She compares her books to a Sandra Bullock movie with sex and humor.
If you are new to Stefanie, she recommends Trouble Next Door to start with. Trouble Next Door’s main characters are a makeup artist and a grumpy IT guy. She pulled from her own background when writing this one. Surprisingly, Stephanie reveals that she is shy.
In addition, she shares a lot of info on her website to help other writers. She has a background in training which helps her with what and how to share.
Finally, Stefanie relates some advice for aspiring authors. She is the second author that recommends to strategically read books. For more details, listen to her author interview for more recommendations and tips for authors.

About Stefanie:
Stefanie’s books have been called “genuinely entertaining and memorable” by Booklist, and her writing praised as “Elegant, descriptive and delectable” by RT magazine. Her stories have earned prestigious awards such as the RT Top Pick and have achieved bestseller status with USA Today and iBooks.
Growing up, Stefanie came from a family of women who loved to read. After sneaking several literature subjects into her ‘very practical’ Business degree, she got a job in Communications. But writing emails for CIOs didn’t fulfil her creative urges, so she turned to fiction and was finally able to write the stories that kept her mind busy at night.
Originally from Australia, she now lives in Toronto with her very own hero and is currently in the process of doing her best to travel the world. She frequently indulges in her passions for good coffee, lipstick, romance novels and anything zombie-related.
