Sixty-year-old Olivia’s first marriage was long and unhappy, but now she is a newlywed, thrilled to finally be starting her life with the man she’s always truly loved—even if they are getting a late start. Kathy is in her forties and married to a handsome, successful businessman. Theirs would be a fairy-tale romance if it weren’t for one problem: He’s passionately in love with someone else! Twenty-something Elise is also in a troubled marriage, stuck with the man her wealthy parents chose for her. Now that he has a pregnant mistress, he seems willing to go to drastic lengths to take Elise out of the picture.
Though each of them wound up at the Summerhouse for separate reason, it’s not long before they begin to open up about their regrets, their wishes and their dreams. And when they’re presented with the opportunity of a lifetime—a chance to right the wrongs of their past—all three discover what can happen when dreams really do come true.

Summary
As You Wish by Jude Devereaux. I read the book in one night. I started reading it Friday after work and finished it at 2 o’clock in the morning. Jude does an amazing job of representing women, their friendships, and their insecurities. The premise behind the story is that three women share their stories and have the ability to go to the Summerhouse to make changes. What would you do if you could go back to any point in your life for three weeks? What changes would you make if any? It’s a romance but it’s also a women’s fiction. The book was so beautifully woven together with the women, their stories, their struggles and their regrets. If you’ve read Jude Devereaux‘s previous books then you’ll recognize several of the characters from previous books. For those of you who like a clean book; I would not classify it as clean. The women reminisce and long for the crazy in love experience to also include the physical aspects.
I think this would make an excellent book club selection. Each of the women’s lives and their struggles could be discussed. What decisions would you have made? What time in your life would you go back to? I literally could not put the story down. It grip me emotionally. I wanted each of the women to have a happy ending.
Sexual - several occasions of discussing how the women want passion in their life.
Violence - someone is drugged
Language - nothing that took away from the book.
drinking - the women drink, and at times too much
