Taut Writing and Breakneck Pacing That Will Keep Readers Up All Night
Katie Singleton, a partner with the Elite Guardians Protection Agency, stumbles upon her next assignment quite by accident. Spotting blue lights at a familiar restaurant, she stops to investigate, only to discover that owner Daniel Matthews has become the target of someone who will go to any lengths to put him out of business.
Daniel might be concerned, but he’s not convinced that a bodyguard–and a female one at that–is necessary. A new attack and his niece’s urgings are enough to make him reconsider. He and Katie must figure out who’s behind the intimidation and threats–before a would-be killer strikes again.
Witty dialogue and a simmering attraction will have readers flying through this tension-laced thriller. Eason exercises complete control of her readers’ emotions as they race through the pages to discover the truth.

Summary
After meeting Lynette Eason at the International Christian Retail Show and having the opportunity to interview her, I could not wait to read Without Warning. She gave us a little sneak peek into the book and totally had me hooked. I was not disappointed. Without Warning is part of the Elite Guardian series, although each of the stories can be read alone. Each of the guardians has her own story and Without Warning is Katie’s. Katie was a great character. She has a very interesting backstory and Eason has you intrigue from the very beginning about why Katie wouldn't want to go into a burning building. Daniel was a fabulous character. I absolutely adore the relationship between him and Riley his niece. And as a side note I would love love love to see Riley get her own book. Seriously she was that great of a character. The main storyline is that Daniel owns a restaurant and someone seems to be out to get him. It is an excellent mystery that keeps you guessing. Eason creates an interesting dynamic between Katie who is the bodyguard and Daniel who needs the protection. He was a former military personnel and definitely knows how to take care of himself. Without Warning is another winner by Eason. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.
Sexual Content: great chemistry between Katie and Daniel. still clean with just kissing
Violence: Someone is found dead in the opening scene. Someone is kidnapped and another person is seriously injured.
