Former rodeo queen Skye Foster is offering dance lessons for the wedding party. Grant and Skye are no match on paper. But when they step onto the dance floor, they create a melody all their own.
Love on a Deadline: An August Wedding Story by Kathryn Springer
MacKenzie “Mac” Davis returns to her hometown of Red Leaf, Wisconsin, and takes a job at the weekly newspaper writing about social events.
When Hollis Channing, Mac’s high school nemesis, returns to Red Leaf to marry her celebrity fiancé, the editor asks Mac to cover all the festivities for the newspaper. The last thing Mac wants to do is reconnect with the person who made her life miserable when she was a teenager . . . unless it’s spending time with Ethan Channing, the bride’s older brother—and Mac’s first crush.

Summary
Kiss the Bride is a compilation of three of novellas from the Year of Wedding series. The first book is Picture Perfect Love: A June Wedding Story by Melissa McClone . Jenna is a wedding photographer whose groom breaks up with her at the rehearsal two years ago. He shows back up in her life asking if she will photograph his sister’s wedding. Unfortunately I did not like her ex fiancé, Ash. The author tried to make him redeemable but in the end I just couldn't cheer for him. I wanted her to fall in love with Sam or Toby.
Trust is a big deal for me and your man standing up and defending you and he truly failed in this mission.
Book 2 is I Hope You Dance: A July Wedding Story by Robin Lee Hatcher. Skye was an interesting character. She could hold her own with horses, was a former rodeo queen, ran barrel races and was a dance instructor. She meets Grant who needs lessons for an upcoming wedding. Grant is a chef and reformed rake after becoming a Christian. There is instant attraction however they have to overcome the issues of having a family.
Book 3 is Love on a Deadline. Mac is the daughter of a beloved coach in their small town of Red Leaf, Wisconsin. Her dad raised her after her mom passed away so she is a little bit of a tom boy. She left home to purse a degree in journalism and the story opens after she has returned to help her dad after he suffered a mild heart attack. She is working at the local paper covering small town social events like the garden club’s flower show. She yearns to capture the big serious story that will get her the attention of a big newspaper for when she can leave Red Leaf. Her editor has now asked her to cover the big wedding of Hollis Channin who happens to be the sister of Ethan, the boy she had a crush on all through high school. Hollis who was her nemis in high school, is marrying a celebrity so it has the potential to be a big story. It also has the potential to reconnect her with Ethan. Ethan was endearing. When they watch the old sports videos I was cracking up visualizing her in the mascot costume. Love on a Deadline is a cute story of two people reconnecting after high school. I also enjoyed the small side story with Hollis and her fiancé.
