Summary
Overall Reunion is the fifth and final book in the series Redemption by team Kingsbury and Smalley which details the Baxter family. I appreciate that the storyline depicts \"reunion\" from a variety of angles. First, that ultimate heavenly reunion with those you love. Secondly, relational reunion between two people who have had strained relations or even selfimposed separation. Thirdly, reunion between child and birth parent(s). And of course, that reunion of family members in which we are most
familiar that good old get together of loved ones. Smalley's expertise in all things relational is more than evident in the dialogue and thought processes of the characters. I think that this is a huge plus to these novels because it allows readers to explore their own feelings about some especially emotional issues. If you love the Baxter family and hate to see them go, I have good news for you. While they may not be the main characters, they are subcharacters in several more of Kingsbury's novel series. You will be encouraged to trust God with the pain of this life, and you will see realistic examples of living a joyful, redeemed life.
