Summary
Overall I read this book because I was curious how a Christian book would handle a story of the bodyguard with the music singer. I realize the story line has been
done many times after the Whitney Houston movie. I really enjoyed the character Brody who is ex military. Veronica/Ronie/Vonya was an interesting character once we get
to know her more deeply. She was a master of disguise. There was just enough balance between the mystery and the romance. You were able to see the two individuals get to know each other. You had enough secondary characters to wonder who was actually involved. I like the variety in the story line that the hero was not rich and famous. He
took the job because he needed the money to help his parents. The book is part of a series but it stood very well on its own.
Drug & Alcohol there is singing at a club but i do not think there was any mention of the main characters drinking.
