Summary
Overall Lone Wolf Standing is the third book in the Wolf Creek series. The underlying theme has been the disappearance of Aunt Liz. In Lone Wolf Standing, quiet, shy Sheri gets her story and her man. I loved the opening scene where Detective Jimmy is called out to her place because she has a gun pointed at someone. Jimmy is the opposite of what Liz thinks she is looking for in her prince. She has had this image in her head of a blond hair, blue eyed prince. Jimmy is a tough Italian with a past he is still dealing with. His interactions with Sheri are so sweet. I enjoyed that they started as friends and their attraction and romance blossomed throughout the story. The mystery is well done by providing several clues and still I don’t think you will guess it. I know I didn’t. The author provides closure with the disappearance of
Aunt Liz. You will get to revisit Sheri’s sisters, Roxy and Marlene and a surprise visitor. Lone Wolf Standing delivers romance and mystery and I loved the book cover.
Violence nothing disturbing.
