Summary
Backstage Pass is the story of Naomi's struggle to become successful in the secular music industry. She was raised in a Christian home and worked to set herself
apart by keeping her morals in a tough environment. My only struggle with the story was that Naomi appeared to be a selfish young adult driven to succeed even when her
parents could not afford the things she wanted to do. The story took the turn I was waiting for 3/4 of the way through when she met the stranger who said
he had a dream about her. The book is an eye opening look into the music industry and the things that happen that can make or break a career. One example
was when she was suppose to go to a meeting with someone and he was fired right before there meeting. Naomi did get to meet a lot of music stars and they are mentioned
throughout the book. I would recommend the book for someone interested in the music industry. You can find Naomi's music online.
