Summary
Number four in the series \"Women of the West\", Janette Oke did a wonderul job in creating a believable story about a 15 year old girl who escapes her alcoholic father and heads West. I am acquainted with alcoholism and Janette does not sugar coat the effects of growing up with this addiction. It's clear that the heroine is a survivor and how her biblical name affects her life is fascinating! The story has good twists and turns. One of Oke's best!
