Maple Valley became Amelia Bentley’s haven after her heart and her dreams of a family were shattered, but her new life as a newspaper editor is shaken when the paper is bought out by a chain that plans to incorporate it into a regional paper.
After his biggest campaign success yet, speechwriter Logan Walker is approached to work on a presidential campaign. But he already lost his wife three years ago, and saying yes to the job means he’ll see his young daughter even less. When Logan hears of a special election campaign in his hometown, helping out sounds like the perfect way to occupy himself while deciding what to do.
When Amelia hears Logan is back in town, she begs him to lend his previous experience in the newspaper world to help turn her paper’s numbers around in time. They may butt heads more than they expected, but a lead on a story that could help save the paper is just the start of the sparks that fly in the office and in their hearts.

Summary
Like Never Before by Melissa Tagg Walker Family Series Book Two Logan Walker thought his life was all lined up. He had his sweet daughter and the business he was in with his friend Theo was about to make it to the big times. Maybe he had left God behind a few years ago when his wife died, but he was doing just fine. He thought he was anyways. Amelia Bentley's dreams had fallen apart three years ago. She found the small town of Maple Valley, Iowa and even though the reason for coming was gone, it was now home. The only problem was that her boss had passed away and the small newspaper she was editor of was up in the air. And the man she was in love with from his writing alone has now materialized in person. He left the small-town life to have a career in the big city. She left a broken life to find herself welcomed in the small-town. Both had lost their faith along the way and tried to make it on their own. Sometimes it's in losing control of everything—that you see the need to give it all to God. Such a good series. Looking forward to more Walker stories. **Received from Bethany House for an honest review http://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com/2015/04/melissa-tagg-book-list.html
